Invading Norsca is usually never worth it unless I'm planning to scorch the whole damn continent and that requires a lot of resources that I don't usually have in the early game while I'm dealing with other things. Archers don't count much in auto-resolve so the Norscans will likely still attack but the archers are extremely cost effective, especially against their unarmoured damage dealers whilst your general tanks. Again, it all depends on your army composition - when you have a lot of archers/cav/flyers it doesnt make sense to build a character this way but it pays massively for heavy infantry oriented armies. Berserkers are also doomstack material and eventually Marauder Champs. Norsca has a broader play style with marauders being worse then chaos warriors but less expensive. Berserkers are AMAZING early game against the factions you'll be fighting, even on VH battle difficulty. I have the "final challenger" mission as Wulfrik and it's rather difficult right now although the Serpent and Eagle champions weren't so bad (I pledged allegiance to the Hound; skulls for the skull throne) Any advice? Norsca tends to be more of an actual threat than the Chaos invasion proper, and can be a thorn in an Empire player's side for an exceptionally long time.
